The daily Prothom Alo is the largest newspaper in Bangladesh, with a circulation wider than the Washington Post, and in 2017-2018 Bengal Creative Media was invited to redesign the newspaper.

The project took about a year, with extensive research and communication with many levels of the organization.

Redesigning the paper necessitated a comprehensive style guide which defined the typography, color and other design elements for all sections and features of the paper.

Alongside redesigning the paper, I designed a completely new type family of 12 fonts for the publication.

All design elements and typefaces were optimized for the printing technology used by the newspaper.

In addition to the redesign and typeface, Bengal Creative Media provided consultation and training infographics and data visualization.
